The most unpopular war in US history keeps getting more unpopular, with nearly seven in ten Americans opposed to Trump’s handling of the war. While it would make sense to end the war in light of its lack of success and unpopularity, President Trump has vowed escalation, demanding that the US “open the gates of hell” on Iran.
